Former Las Vegas Mayor and the entire LV City Council felt so strongly about the Las Vegas Railroad Society's tireless efforts to create a 'Railroad Heritage Park' for our local community, that it was unanimously decided to provide the necessary property for this very important community project.
Today's generation wants to know everything about Las Vegas' steam era; and tomorrow's generations need to know!
We will demonstrate all of it, in more ways than one....

RE-ENACTMENT OF LAS VEGAS' ENTIRE RAILROAD HISTORY.....

Walk back in time to 1906 where Nevada witnessed the first steam locomotive's arrival. Las Vegas' new addition of a 'Railroad Heritage Park' will bustle with all the authentic sights depicted within the Gilded-Progressive Age of Nevada's railroad and mining history. This era was selected as a tribute to industrial ingenuity, paired with the pioneer entrepreneurial spirit for which Nevada is known.
Las Vegas' new Railroad Heritage Park will display life-size railroad equipment and memorabilia; and Las Vegas' live steam era will be reenacted with 1/3rd scale and 1/8th scale train rides throughout the city-provided 200+ acre properties, along with educational underground mining rides and exhibits.
This project is one of Las Vegas' most unique and one-of-a-kind cultural additions! The city-provided property is located west - north/west side of the Las Vegas valley. Feel free to contact us for details.
The 'Railroad Heritage Park' will be a very disciplined, safe and educational institution, offering a nostalgic 'old-world' architecture; family-oriented atmosphere with uncountable year-round-active children & youth-oriented educational program activities; miniature railroading and the history behind our demonstration trains, keeping Las Vegas' children interested year-round; off the streets, and simply on the 'right track'.
