UNIQUE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES OUR RAILROAD HISTORY SHOULD NOT BE A MYSTERY    . YEAR-ROUND EDUCATION With being in charge of well over 400,000 students, the Clark County School District is always seeking inexpensive educational field trip destination points. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT & TOURS: Through the creation of the 'Railroad Heritage Park' and in partnership with the District, a variety of budget conscious opportunities shall be provided to enhance a student's core educational requirements as students progress through their standards-based core curriculum. Curriculum development and tours for grades 3 to 5, 6 to 8 and 9 to 12 shall be provided. Special emphasis shall be provided for 6th and 8th graders as significant linkage has been established between successful core skill development within these grades and student retention. The "Railroad Heritage Park' shall develop and provide programs and activities in such a way to promote complete knowledge about Las Vegas' and our nation's entire steam era railroad history of the gilded age; plus, to promote levels of youth development with a sense of security, personal identity, social skills, values, morals, and skill development needed to foster healthy and productive citizens.           PAST EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM ACTIVITIES:                > 2002 through 2009 / More......           FUTURE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM LIST:                > Available to donors and supporters upon request.
