WHO IS THE LAS VEGAS RAILROAD SOCIETY, REALLY?
LOCAL CARING VOLUNTEERS:
The LV Railroad Society is a blend of enthusiastic highly skilled business professionals; live steamers; loyal volunteers and caring families with a big heart. They are fathers, mothers, grandfathers and grandmothers who care deeply about Las Vegas' railroad history, our community and its children. Las Vegas grew and thrived because of the trains, and we will see to it that nobody forgets that very fact.
DEDICATED VOLUNTEER HOURS:
The Las Vegas Railroad Society never had paid staff. After analyzing carefully, our officers realized that due to participant's compassion and desire to preserve Las Vegas' entire railroad history, and to improve the quality of life for all our local children, over 60,000+ volunteer hours were invested into this project to date with round-the-clock research, negotiation, planning and preparations prior to receiving the property, and prior to any construction of the project. This is true dedication for all the right reasons! Volunteer
