2007 EDUCATIONAL DISPLAY 

In 2007, the Las Vegas Railroad Society volunteered and educated the public, sharing knowledge about machining and railroad history of Las Vegas with the Las Vegas community during this public event at a local Church of Scientology building. 

Pictured: Trudy Platzer and the LVRRS Board of Directors were all set up for this public event which was just about to start, along with live performance of the talented NV Opera Theatre, and the educational display of this magnificent museum quality UPRR Challenger live steam locomotive.

2008 'LVRRS' COLLABORATING WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS 

LVRRS volunteered and provided educational program activities to 200 students of this public elementary school during the Nevada Day celebration.

2009 - LVRRS Offering Business Education

The Las Vegas Railroad Society volunteered and conducted computer education and other educational program activities throughout the entire year of 2009 and 2010 to Las Vegas' young business professionals to help them throughout these difficult economic times. Other programs included 'dressing professional for success' and much more..
