We are planning for a nostalgic Victorian Tea Room at the Las Vegas Railroad Society's 'Old Railroad Town', decorated with beautiful Victorian furniture. The Tea Room will be part of our programs, welcoming events like:

- Birthday parties for children and adults
- Women's Club events
- Senior citizens groups
- Rotary Club meetings, Etc....

FUTURE VISION: Delicious hot chocolate, coffee, tea with pastries, delicious cakes, deviled eggs, finger sandwiches, and other goodies will make the tea room quite a cozy meeting place.

FUTURE VISION: When you first walk in, you may decide to get your train tickets for you and your family. But then you realize there is so much to see in this wonderful Old Railroad Town.
Perhaps you may decide to put your train tickets in your pocket for a while and checking out everything instead. You will find out in detail about Las Vegas' railroad past, about the people who played a major role in the growth of our town, way back then...

FUTURE VISION: To the left, an elderly couple relaxes on one of the park benches underneath a shady tree, enjoying delicious ice cream in a waffle cone, remembering the old days, while watching the trains........

.... as she discovers the yummy ice cream cone in the little old ladies hands, you just know what happens next: She is pulling on her Mom's jacket, pleading until she finally gets her very own overstuffed waffle cone filled with her favorite flavors of ice cream.

Las Vegas' retirees will find a new lease on life at the Las Vegas Railroad Society Park:
FUTURE VISION: They can meet their friends in the Old Railroad Town's 'Victorian Tea Room' and tell each other stories about their daily lives, their experiences, their good times, their bad times, their lessons in life, and all their constructive and exciting things they encountered. They will also be invited to the arts and craft room to take classes or to volunteer..... |
Perhaps they will watch railroad videos, or chat about their fun railroad trips they took throughout the United States, or even throughout foreign countries. Or, perhaps some of them will take advantage of our magnificent future LVRRS programs.
Perhaps they will join our volunteer programs, getting involved in:
It will be a wonderful place for them, as they will meet many new friends and none of them will ever be alone again.....

FUTURE VISION: Technically inclined fathers will be on an enthusiastic 'fun hunt' with their cameras, snapping pictures of steam locomotives across the fence in the steaming bay area, where some of the engines are being cleaned and cared for.... |
